I had problems all day yesterday. Added the new age morphs for Genesis to my cart, then realized I wasn't logged in.
Logged in, cart was empty. Tried to add the product again, but was told it was already in my cart - cart was still empty.
Logged out, then in, same thing. Changed browser, same thing... Actually I would call that mildly infuriating!
Finally succeeded buying the product today, but half the times this happens, I just give up. That's how you lose business...
Normally thus happens when you have added something to the cart while not fully logged in to your account and the store.
The store log in times out, unlike the forum login, as the store is held on the secure side of the site.
THe cure is to make sure that you are fully logged in to your account and then to add another item to your cart, any item, and you should then see the original item is in there as well. Remove the item you don't want and proceed.
The Daz3D site has no control over CloudFlair issues when a user experiences them. This can cause a user to not be logged in when they add items to their cart in the Store. Which also will cause the You can not have More than 1 issue as well. A Cache reset in your Browser will normally fix the errors if you try it. I hope this might help users have a better experience in the future when shopping in the Store.
EDIT: I cross posted with Chohole who also has good advice on the error.
Those things did not work for me! Time and patience, and eventually the shopping cart started working again on its own...
Very weird.
I had a little problem too and the normal tricks didn't work. After logging out and in I ended up deleting the items in my cart then logging out again and logging in and started over.
I couldn't delete things from the cart because nothing was showing up as IN the cart. :(

Same here. And anyway, no matter how many possible workarounds there are, I don't really see it as the customers job to fix a defective website in order to be allowed to buy something. But that's apparently just me ;)
When it is a problem that seems to affect only a very small minority of users it is hardly a defective website, just a glitch that affects a few people.
A support ticket giving details of what you are experiencing and details of your computer version (ie PC or Mac) OS used and Browser Plus Browser version) would help the web team to see if they can duplicate the glitch themselves, and thus eliminate it.
All you will have in the forums is advice on possible ways to work round it.

But that's apparently just me ;)As I stated most often it is a CloudFlare issue. That is not Daz3D but the Server from the CLOUD that the user is connected to at the time the error happens. As the cloud is just a service and each user from different places get connected from different area's of the cloud service Saying that Daz3D should fix something that is working for user A with a good connection and Not for user B with a bad connection is not possible.
But it doesn't convince me that all those Cloudthingies are a good thing.
;)
You will note that at no time did I say I was a fan of the Cloud services myself. The same errors hit me as well but I do not hold Daz at fault for something they did not cause.
They have chosen Cloud services ...
They have chosen Magento ...
Sorry, really, but for some things they are to blame.
I am defending them when they are not, but some things are their responsibility.
Like some things are something they are to praise for (I love the new zip downloads!).
