Help! all my Genesis characters have Stephanie 5 Curvy dialed in
I have no idea what I did
have been using Dimension 3D's DSON importer in Poser
I resaved Stephanie 5 curvy as a .duf to use in Poser with the presets I wanted
not as Genesis
as Bigboobed Stephy as to not overwrite anything
but now ALL my figures have her dialed in when they load in studio (and Carrara)
I fixed the default grey startup figure by zeroing it and resaving but all my presets are ruined
I can manually just dial her out each time for now but there must be a solution
re installing starter essentials did not fix it.
the two morphs are Stephanie 5 and Stephanie curvy, manually dialing them out fixes figures
I looked in Data etc, cannot find anything
log file was

sounds like you reset the base morph file so it's on. I would suggest you un-install S5 and re-install her.
uninstalling her worked, now re-downloading her as I cannot find where I stuck her installer (have lots of dongles)
yes all fixed now
thx Wancaw
Hope I do not do it agian!
I forget what I did, but I ran into a similar problem once... re-instraling fixed the issue...
When are you going to uprade to D|S anyway? :P
Manual fix:
Locate the offending morph file (e.g. My Library/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis/Base/Morphs/DAZ 3D/Stephanie 5/FBMStephanie5CurvyBody.dsf)
Open it in a text editor.
(If it's gibberish, rename it to .zip, unzip it, rename the resulting file to .dsf, and open that one.)
Find the line that says "value" : 1, (or possibly some other nonzero value)
Change the 1 to a 0. Make sure you don't do anything to the space before the number, or the comma after it.
Save.
thx, will remember that if it happens again
