Downloads Stall: this is the ONLY website where that happens...

It's terribly annoying that I simply cannot get a download to come through on DAZ 3D. I've tried via the computers hardwired to the network. That used to work, but it no longer does. What is it about the DAZ 3D Website that won't let me download stuff???? This is the ONLY site where it's a problem, so it can't be my machine or connection. And who do I talk to to fix the problem?

It's not just downloading content of the website directly, the DIM has the same problem!

Support would need a lot more detail than that, as the problem is not a general one, but seems to be something that only happens to you.

I'd be willing to do whatever it took to fix the problem, could you point me to who to talk to?

Well the only thing I can suggest is that you send a help request to Tech Support, outlining exactly what is happening. However as it is an individual problem, not a general problem I an not sure they will be able to help you.

Most Download problems do tend to be tied up with the computer, the internet browser, connectivety etc.

If I find I am getting a really slow download rate then I will abort the download and reset my router, which will sort the problem out. I am in an area which has a very bad broadband speed, and we are at the very edge of the coverage form the exchange, so my Broadband is less than optimum, but I rarely have any problems, but on the rare occasions I do, resetting my router does help. Of course I do remember to clear my cache so that the aborted downloads and any corrupt downloads are not stored in my browser cache. Aborted or stalled downloads, if not cleared out, will cause the next attempt to stall at the same place.

Resetting the router is not possible for me. The only internet access I have is through the public library. And, as I have said, I don't have this problem with any other website. I've tried multiple computers that are hardwired to the library network, and I'm still running into the same problem. Downloads never stall in the same place. Right now I'm attempting to download D|S 4.5.2.40 and it's gone up to 30mb, but right now it's stalled at 12.4. It has stalled as low as 2mb. I'll submit a help ticket...
