Issues with Freak 5, JoeQuick's Rhino, and Poser Pro
Hey folks,
Bit of a quandry here, and I've reached the extent of what I can think to try to fix it. To open things up:
Using Poser Pro 2012 SR3, fully patched and the like, along with the DSON importer.
I've gotten most of my other Genesis related figures working with this (insofar as the ones with DSON/Poser support goes).
I can load Genesis, and it has the Freak 5 dial, but when dialed up, it only scales the model, but does not use any of the actual Freak 5 injections.
Similarly, with JoeQuick's Rhino for Freak 5, it scales the model up, but does not properly load any of the other morphs, so it just looks like Slenderman as rendered with Genesis.
I double checked and tested out the RawElephant, Stegolian, RawBacon, and a handful of other models and morphs with Genesis, and they all worked correctly.
I then uninstalled Freak and Rhino, and tried to reinstall using the .trx and PoserCF files (after spending the last week redownloading them, thank you ISP, for your awful service!), but this failed to correct the issue.
I've also attempted to load the Freak 5 model directly from the Poser Library, as well as injecting the Rhino morphs from the Pose library, but this only resulted in the same final subject as above.
My question to the forums at large is: Am I missing something hideously obvious, is this a known issue with Freak 5 and PP2012, or is there some other issue at play here?
Thank you for your assistance, and I hope this is the right forum for this!

This usually means that the moprh itself, in \Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis\Base\Morphs\Somefolder, is not available to Poser. It will be in the DS installer, and you need to make sure that that is pointed to a folder that you have selected as an external library in Poser.
Double checked, and it installed to the same directly as the M4, M5, V4, V5 morph sets did, same folder that several other morph sets for Genesis reside, and those all work correctly (except for the Rhino by JoeQuick, which uses Freak 5, that is obviously broken as a side effect of F5 being broken atm.) I've got a screen grab of the folder structure as well. Attempted to clear the Poser cache, as well as reinstalling F5 again, still no love. At this point, I'm not sure what else I can attempt. I will note in the folder below, the actual Poser runtime (which is apparently -not- writable for DSON in this case) is in the program files folder, way back under the Win7 Secundus drive.
As you say, that looks right so I'm afraid I don't have any other ideas either. Sorry.
After additional testing, it appears that whatever happened has quite thoroughly broken every morph I have for Genesis. Even the basic Evolution morphs will no longer properly apply to the model. Going to attempt to uninstall the whole shebang tommorow, and restart from zilch, unless there's any other thoughts as to what might be occuring?
Do you have the Genesis Essential files and Poser Companion Files installed to an external runtime or do you have the installed to the main Poser runtime?
Is Poser installed outside the Program Files folder?
Are you using the current release candidate of DSON or the beta?
