Buying Shaders Question?

Hi, At other stores I have bought shapers for the poser clothing I've made and I can use shaders in clothing texture or clothing I sell. Usually for making latex texture for dresses. I just have to keep the latex in their folder when passing it on as part of clothing. But many of these poser shaders do not work in daz.
1) Are there any shaders for clothing, latex or other, in the daz store? I looked and am not finding any. I only found wood and other no clothing shaders.
2) If so are the rule for shader use in clothing you sell the same here? If not, what difference in terms of use?
Thanks
Kimberly

There are some shaders sold here and at Rendo for DAZ Studio. Dragonstorm, Khory, and Marieah are a couple of the vendors.
Try looking under software as they are software specific.
I'm not sure what you mean about the policy regarding shaders. If you wish to sell a shader, unless you are using a Merchant Resource pack and following the read me requirements, the shader work has to be your own. Unless you have some written agreement with the shaders creator and list that in your read me of the finished product. If the package is not a Merchant Resource you cannot take the shader, apply it to your product and sell it as if it were your own.
I wouldn't never take anything that belong to someone else and why I asked since there is no Merchant Resource section in daz store to find Merchant Resource packs to read and follow the terms or instruction and very few shaders that I can find at all. Even thought I saw no read me file to read the terms of those. I thought possibly daz merchants used a different terms than other stores.
Thanks, I will look for them as your suggested.

I don't believe there any MR shader packs for sale here at DAZ. There are some MR skin textures sold here. Read me's for DAZ are often in the wiki. If you can't find one and need clarification, if it is a DAZ Original product, submit a ticket to sales. They should be able to answer your questions.
If the MR is a PA product, PM or email the vendor if you can't find the read me in wiki.
Even if DAZ gives you one set of information, you cannot apply it to a PA product. Read me's and any restrictions are set individually by the PA's.
I've made heaps of DS Shader packs for clothing that are at least as good as anything for Poser. Here's a list and description:
Fabricator
A system where you first apply a clothing diffuse, and then a "Weave" to make it look like just about any clothing texture you want. There are thousands of freebie diffuse shaders mader specially for it at Share Cg as well.

LaceMaker
Dozens of fine quality laces and sheer fabrics in just a couple of clicks. User diffuse for any color at all.

MachPack
Same system as Fabricator, but a more masculine collection that includes tartans, camo and several kinds of chain mail.

Leatherize
A collection of high quality leathers using advanced HSS surface setting.

Ye Olde Clothe

Totally Bazaar
Again, divided over two products or more than 600 in the bundle. These are ethnic fabrics, categorized by nationality.

All the above use bump, displacement and spec and gloss maps to produce a convincing 3d rendered finish. Look at the promos for examples rendered.
If anyone has used any of them, please chime in.
I can also highly recommend Sparkles by Fisty in the store here for stunning sequins and crushed velvets.
And I just remembered that Fisty's Hardcore Utility Shaders have great latex in them, as well as lots of other cool stuff.
Mariaeh's shaders are brilliant - however - you can't use them on clothing items you want to sell.
Will post a link to this list in my Art Studio :) I collect useful tutorials, lists of products, tips. This is a wonderful resource. I have quite a few of them but haven't tried them yet, looking forward to it!
Cathie
If you bake them onto a texture map and do not redistribute the tiles themselves, you can,
Sorry Marieah, but that was not what you told me when I asked.
Will remember that in future.:-)
I've told everyone that who asked, right from the start. It's not stated anywhere because people tend to misunderstand and I prefer them to contact me directly if they want to use them. Sorry if there was any misunderstanding. There was a long discussion about it in the old original Fabricator thread, along with instructions about how to bake them onto a map using Shader Baker.
In addition to Marieah's great shader products I also really like the shaders that come with the Supersuit products.... here is the link to the Pro bundle... http://www.daz3d.com/supersuit-pro-bundle. I don't sell or do freebee products so can't help you with that part of your question about using shaders you buy in your products.
Yes, the Supersuit includes a bunch of shaders that Daz purchased from us shader makers. There are some of mine and some of Fisty's in there, among others.
