I'm looking to improve the buffness and muscle definition of m5... What is you favorite method /male muscle Morph or character to dial in? I'm looking to make him buff but not super humanly so...Do you like the genesis evolution muscle morphs?

I like the plain old Bodybuilder Details, Fitness Details, and Body Tone from the original Basic/Evolution packs. I own the muscle morphs, but they are 1. unmanageable (there's one for almost every different muscle and then a dial for all of them) and 2. leave a character inhumanly cut.

I wouldn't use the Muscle morphs unless you really want a comic book superhero or Muscle & Fitness cover model look.

I like to use the M4 displacement maps for definition detail and vascularity.
The regular body volume, bodybuilder detail and the rest are what I use the most, along with Freak 4, while I found Freak "5" unusable.
The muscle morphs are great for specific details, not so much for a whole solution.

I like D5/D3 + RamWolf's freebie morphs for Genesis. They give a lot of small nice details for muscles.

These are some great ideas! Thanks. I did buy the Muscle Evolution, but I admit, I have no clue what some of these muscle-groups are. I was hoping more for a full body or body-section morph like the other evolution body pack.

I'm going to try these ideas. Thank you. =-)

I have to archive this thread. Lots of good suggestions to try during my render time.

WOW, thanks Kattey. Wait till Bruno is released. LOL Might be a while longer with how I work but yea, more morph goodies galore.

My prefs are of course my own but like some of the details from the Evolution pack the best. It's been so long since I've dialed up anything anyone else has made though, truth be told! :red:

Free morphs for Genesis? Where? How? Who do I have to injure???

I like some of the muscle morphs for V4/M4 that I've transferred via GenX. V4 in particular is more subtle and can be good with female characters who you might want to have added muscle bulk without too much muscle tone.

I like the Genesis Evolution muscular morphs, though mostly for fine tuning and the full body flexions pose that automatically helps give the illusion of appropriate muscle movement as one poses the figure. There is a dial that inputs ALL the muscle morphs at once, but I feel an opportunity was missed on account of the individual muscle morphs not having negative min values. It would be nice to be able to dial in an amount for all muscles and then adjust key areas individually as necessary, but the lack of negative min values means you can only increase areas. This can be manually changed, of course, but it seems like it should have been a given for the product.

I also like Swole for Genesis, though mostly because there are separate morphs for the upper and lower body. I can dial in just a little upper body Swole to make a big difference in relative proportions. Gen X'd Freak 4 morphs are okay for this as well, except Gen X and pectorals don't get along too well and require additional morphing to really look good.

I like Freak 5 in small doses and in combination with some of the morphs you can get for him. In particular, I like Los Monstros, which includes a morph that smooths out Freak 5 while adding a little bulk. This allows for a more realistic strong man, though the morph does affect the head a little, so it won't look right if it isn't equal to or less than the amount of Freak 5 (complete with the head) is dialed in.

Thank YOU, Ramwolff. I know that people reference DieTrying's morphs a lot (and deservingly so) but your pack is no less handy but often forgotten, and it is unfair, because it is a such good pack -_- So yay for your morphs again :)
And yay, good news about incoming release, thank you :)

Well it's my first "outing" as a morph maker so if anyone gets any use out of them and likes them that just makes me all happy inside! :-) I know the female shapes are a bit rough and I'm hoping to improve on those when I get my "SuperCape" completed. Working on all the fit morphs right now. Learning allot as I go along!

@dan.shive: you can change the range of any morph, including negatve values. I often use the Swole morphs, in a negative direction, to compensate for the bodybuilder morph making some areas more developed than I like.

Edit: Now that I'm at home and awake, I can add a little more detail.

Near the slider for each morph there's a little symbol that looks like a tiny gear; it's grayed out until you move your cursor over it. Clicking it lets you select parameters, which will open in a popup window. Unchecking the box that says 'use limits' will allow the morph slider to operate both positively and negatively. You can also specify min and max ranges for the slider, if you want.

This is where the Swole morphs have come in handy. If I use a muscle morph that affects the whole body, (bodybuilder, F5, evolution morphs All Muscle Volumes, Adam Thwaites' Ripped, etc.), making the upper body as large as I want makes the thighs so big that they collide. Using the Swole lower body morph, with limits off, lets me dial down the legs a bit, so I get the result I'm looking for. I suppose I could do the same with the Muscularity morphs, but this is a quick one-slider solution.

Wolfie's morphs are an excellent choice. It's hard to believe they're free.
