Gen3 clothing on Gen8

Hi, everyone. I've been looking at buying some wearables for Gen8 characters. Will the Gen3 clothing autofit to Gen8? There doesn't seem to be a lot of outfits for Gen8 at the moment (or very few in my price range) but plenty of Gen3 wearables on sale. Thanks!
