So I switched from PC & Poser to Daz and MAC. (Better processor.)
I'm in hell - I cannot figure out where to put the RUNTIME folders.
This is - what DAZ3D 4.10 looks like on a mac
Can anyone help migrate my files
please thanks
Look
I love your software but it's a community - and I need some easy ways to get my shit together - or you need to provide every model possible - which you don't.
It's that simple. Make it easy - or get replaced by someone who does at some point. WHY IS 3RD PARTY SOFTWARE A PAIN IN THE ASS TO IMPORT ON THE MAC?
Netscape was something at one point ... remember them?
thanks - a fan
Can you be more specific? What exactly isn't working?
Merged threads -- please don't post the same thing in multiple threads, it makes it harder to help you.
The Runtime folder should go directly underneath the "My Library" folder.
If you are going from PC to OSX, you will need to do some research on how things work differently. While I am NOT a Mac user, I have learned that it does not easily merge folders like a PC does. I think you need to unpack each product zip one at a time and manually merge them into your runtime or content library. This is not the fault of Daz3D or the Daz Studio software, it a difference between operating systems.
What the heck is that "runtimes" folder?
