Editing Signature Causes Them To Disappear- EDIT: DAZ HAS FIXED IT

Do NOT edit your signature- it makes them disappear. Has been confirmed this is a new wrinkle they are working on, do not submit a bug report.

(Ask me how I know, lol. Note the lack of signature?)

    Yeah, I discovered that as well. when I tried editing mine. At least it let me keep my pretty picture. :roll:

    It's not funny, but when a Moderator and an Adminstrator don't have signatures either- well, it IS a feeling of "I'm in good company."

    Look at it this way Chohole, we have LOTS of time to design some rockin' banners for our signatures! (And so does Jaderail, lol) Now all we need is Scott-Livingston to forget and try to change his signature, and we'll really be having a party. (Misery loves company. But he's too nice a guy to wish this on him.)

    Seriously, if this takes as long as the avatars to fix, it might be months from what I've read. You guys hearing anything behind the scenes as to whether its as hard to fix as that?

    EDIT: How is it that it let you keep your banner? That's good. I didn't have one, just links. I think that was all Jaderail had too, wasn't it?

    I must've snuck in under the wire because I updated my signature earlier in the day and it's still there. Which makes me happy because I don't get to add an avatar, so at least I have something!

    I only tried editing my links and text. Didn't touch the banner luckily. I knew that doing anything with that would remove it and not allow a replacement.

    Trouble is I have now lost my link to my site as well as the other text stuff

    Nope, I got it, I was playing dumb... I'm the guy who walks into a building that has just been hit a tornado and says... "nice place... just a little too drafty for me..." I was initially going to be sarcastic too, but I figured after all the comments I've made in the past about the not letting folks know about things till after the fact and "Important notices" written on a sticky note stuck under the toilet tank lid - type warnings... it would be nicer if I made a different style joke.

    And now for something completely different...


    There were two peanuts walking down the strasse... und one was assaulted...

    I never knew they even worked... I tried once or twice to add stuff to the profile but it never stayed... But that was early (not normal early) after the site change... I was just happy to have my avatar working and a banner.

    This should be working again as well as avatars, signatures, private message attachments, etc.

    I decided to be a guinea pig and edit my signature, and sure enough it's working! :) Thanks, DAZ_Jon!
