Script for camera position

Is it possible to use a script that would allow me to set/reset parameter x,y,z translate and rotate slider settings?

    Doesn't File>Save as>Camera Preset do that?

    It does indeed - many thanks. I should use presets more often instead of looking for complicated ways of doing things.

    The "complicated" method (actually not that much) is to click on the Parameters Option Button and select Memorize->Memorize Selected Item(s) Pose, obviously while the camera is selected. You can recall the position with Option Button->Restore->Restore Selected Item(s) Pose. Those options are also available through Edit->Object->Memorize (or Restore).

    But note that Memorise does not persist unless you save the camera, in a scene or a preset.
