The new Cafe forums now has a FREEPOSITORY that allows uploads!
http://carraracafe.com/forum-3/

The standard file formats that can be attached to a post are:
.PDF .TXT .ZIP <-- these should automatically download to your computer

I have also allowed CARRARA specific files:
.CAR .CBR <-- you may need to instruct your web browser to "Save to Disc...", since these are not regular web files. Let me know if you have issues...

When you attach an image it will embed into the post:
.JPG .GIF .PNG .JPEG
(If you want to arrange the images within your text, you will need to first submit, and then edit the post.)

HAPPY SHARING! :-)

Do we have to size the images to a specific dimension to avoid breaking the page formatting? Also, is there a file size limit if we want to upload a freebie?

Edited to add:Thank you for all the work you've done at the Cafe!

    Thank you!

It appears if uploaded images are wider than 640px they get resized, and only the resized version gets saved to the server.

I have not deliberately attempted to embed an image from another source that is too large... I am not sure. The forums provide several formatting tools...

The believe the size limit is around 100MB, but I have not attempted to upload anything near that large...
