Problems with M5 Male Gen's Materials
I have a problem with some materails for Michael 5's Genitals.
I load M5, then I texture him with materials from my library (e.g. Jepe's Kenny), then I load the Genesis Male Gens and want add the releated textures from the libray too. But nothing happens, the genitals figure remains white and the texture is nothing to see. I have his "problem2 with several male characters like Santo for Genesis (not Santo for M5) and Jepe's Kenny.
Just the "hairy" and "shaved" base materials work. What did I wrong?
On the picture below you see, how it should look (left) and how it looks on the figure (right). I hope the picture is okay for showing, 'cause there's really nothing special to see.
BTW: Why are not supplied genitals textures with the new figures (e.g. David 5). I expect FULL DAZ products and no previews. This also applies to all other artists who create male characters. We, the customers pay for complete products.

Can't really explain why your textures aren't working, as I don't actually own the products to find out, however I thought I'd address this one point.
Some artists don't feel that it's necessary to create genitals for their figures, either because they weren't intended for those kinds of renders or because they lack the products to do sufficient testing with it. I can't speak for publishers, but for my part I've never seen genitals as being a necessity for rendering. While tasteful nudity is quite possible to do, the majority seem to be naked for the sake of it, with the genitalia adding nothing to the scene which couldn't be done otherwise.
Again, this is just a personal opinion and I neither judge nor condemn those who do use nudity in their work. I'm just offering a perspective as to why some publishers might not feel the need or desire to include genitals in their texture or character bundles
Meanwhile I have tried to find out, where the error comes from. The releated texture will not be loaded. In the surface tab there is no texture map. If I add a texture manually it will be not in the correct position. unfortunetely i can#t show pics here to show the problem. But i can send pics via email, if a vendor would see what's happened.
I know, that there are a few minor problems with the gens because of the geocrafting of Genesis. But that shouldn't be the problem to create working textures.
And because of "That kind of pictures": Without the community who loves erotic arts, Poser and Daz wouldn't be that successful as they are. Or does anyone really believes that we all buy these programs just for rendering cute fairies, apart from, that most fairies comes also in a kind of erotic outfit. :)
It's possible the character texture uses M4 UV which the Genesis gens does not have.
Mmhmm. Yet you are quite keen pointing out how you are not using them and how you don't see the need to show genitals and how you don't do "those kind of scenes". This even if you admit you don't own the product and have no idea why they don't work.
Allow me to counter: I do use genitals for example in porn renders because I *do* those kind of renders from time to time. Additionally I do regular nudes too without porny parts. So I definitely do see the need for them. Anyhow. I can confirm there are genital mats for at least Kenny and Santo (which actually took less time to check than write all this text).
It may be that something has glitched in the OPs system. Maybe try reinstalling the genital figure and the characters.
Edit: Ok ignore the "have genitals installed part" you definitely do. Slow edit. :)
The OPs example was David 5, not Kenny or Santo, both of which use M4 maps.

Santo M5 works with the M5 gens.
I have fixed the problem with CauriB's remapped M5 gens. Needs also a little adjustments, but it works now. Santo M5 is on my wishlist for the next big sale.
