Is anyone running Dual Geforce 660s in SLI for Poser/Vue/Studio?

My system is 3+ years old, and though I built it for SLI I never have moved beyond the basic video card I bought originally as a stand-in until I could upgrade. In anticicpation of Poser Pro 2014, Vue 12, and to maximize my use of Studio 4.5 Pro, I am upgrading.. I have pretty much set on Dual Geforce 660s, each 2GB with a 192-bit interface, running in SLI mode. Does anyone have this or a similar setup (My CPU is AMD 1090T).? I am trying to figure out what I can expect for performance, and also considering just building a new system instead. Real input is greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Does your MB support PCIe 3.0 otherwise you won't see the benefits

No, but I mostly chose the 660s for the 960 cores each, vs 300-400 in the next step down.

what benefits are there if all 3 software renders via the CPU and don't use the GPU at all for rendering just for OpenGL??

I am using the system for other purposes such as video editing and transcoding, and other purposes, almost all of which makes use of CUDA cores for extra processing power.

I would invest more on CPU power than CUDA processing, my opinion.

The CPU is still going strong.. 6 cores running at 3.2 GHz apiece. There is not enough benefit in real world performance gains a Vishera 8350 for me to build an entirely new system.
