When you change the height of the back of a G8F, the length of a foot, etc., when you try to select Hip and select Translation by the viewport and move it, the position will definitely drop.

So you loaded Genesis 8 Female, turned up the Foot Length slider, selected the hip, and dragged on the viewport Gizmo which caused the figure to jump?
