Add it specifically to what? There's several things in eyes. Can't believe I haven't had this problem before, with all the gals I've rendered! I would have noticed it.
With eyes with the cataract look I was advise to shine some diffuse in them. It helps make them look less milky...
Unbelievable. My hubby missed a flight back here (From Connecticut) because there was NO PARKING. Simply ignorant to not have two out of five remaining parking lots plowed WHILE THREE ADDITIONAL MAIN ONES ARE CLOSED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION!!!! Seriously?
After what recently happened on United I have lost all faith in airlines. I never fly anywhere anymore.
Ugh, that's always a pain to miss a flight, especially with some airlines. You would think they would know to plow - this isn't the first snow storm this year. Don't get me started on United, I avoid them at all costs.
We Florida and California people can forget what a nightmare snow accumulation can be. I grew up in Iowa. It isn't all that easy to get rid of a lot of snow in a hurry. Sorry your husband got caught up in it. I bet he wasn't the only one either.
This went into my cart immediately. But there wasn't anything else in today's MM I wanted!
Until they got Fat Bike added, that is. Adding Fat bike to the cart dropped the total to just under the cost of buying the Bubble Suit alone. I still don't see anything else I want now, but at least this is coming home today, instead of getting shuttled off to the black hole my wishlist has become!
I bought fat bike and the poses. Boyd and Owen will have to go biking sometime soon.
I'm getting them too. We'll have to have a virtual bike race!
That Cloudy look may also have to do with the reflection of the HDRI against the moisture surface. I've found that happens to me often.
That would be fun!
LOL, speaking from past experience, any competition with RGcincy is fun. I thought I had him beat when I conjured up a wizard and a crab, but he simply moved his town underwater! I just happened to find our posts when we challenged each other to kitbash two back to back sets we bought, and I really LOVED this room I did when incorporating the Hidden Burial Grounds. And it made it even more funny when I discovered that room actually had an elephant painting- which honestly was NOT known when I did the room. That room and the graveyard were back to back sets, and the reason chosen. Here it is, and may give you (new to the thread, or if you've forgotten) some ideas as to using the bones for decoration.
And take a peek at these two sets combined. (If you want to see what we came up with, start with that one and it's a couple pages of back-to-back set kitbashing.
We'll have to do it again sometime (I can't, very busy with Mom, etc) Anyone who hasn't ever tried doing set kitbashing with the rule the sets must have been purchased back-to-back (meaning you use set 1, then go down your product library until you find another set, skipping characters, hair, light sets) and use that second set.
Like a kitbashing RRRR using only sets. And I never would have thought to use those elephant bones as decoration if Rich and I hadn't done this, or combined the other sets for a gorgeous patio. So even if we don't do it in this thread, I suggest trying it to see what you'd come up with. I'm going to head to my Product Library and just for giggles, see what sets I'd have to combine. Back in a few.
Okay, so I don't have time to render it so I'll just state how I would handle it. Hey, this could be fun. Anyone want to play? Just see your back to back sets that you've bought,(no cheating!) and state how you'd combine them. Give some folks some ideas. You can use parts of the set, but it should be a main part so it's recognizable as being that product.
Oh gosh, mine would be the Bradbury Suspended Railway System (since it has more than just the prop, it has other scenery elements so I'll count that) and the Art Studio.
I'd either have that system outside the window, or the obvious- an artist painting a miniature version of the train car.
IDEA: The train car would make a nice toy, art piece to paint in the studio, or nice sculpture inside a home (use shaders and make it marble!)
(I'm sure the PAs are laughing right about now. "I didn't create it for that, but...")
Oh, next would be the American Diner 60's and Pergoda Venue. I bet many of us are going to come up with similar combinations. I wonder what it would look like to have the booths from the diner scattered around the outside of the Pergoda, or put inside it! The Pergoda has a nice pavement around it and looks like it would fit the booths. And I think ONE would fit inside, so I'll go with that.
IDEA: Put an American Diner 60's booth inside the Pergoda.
Well, I got Vlad Castle and the Dungeon Holding Cell so that's not really a difficult combination since they are both castle things.
Next is Forest Treehouse Iray Worlds and the Chinese Courtyard. That could be interesting.
The Asian River Bundle and Shaded Sanctuary
And last but not least and probably the most difficult unless you really hate romantic comedies is the Attic Entertainment Room and Muelsfell's Modular Hellscape.
The most recent ones for me would be
I'm not sure my computer could cope with all combinations, but there's some interesting imagery there
Oh those are fun. For the Forest Treehouse and Chinese Courtyard, I'd make a walkway leading up to the treehouse using the ornamental railing, perhaps plop the lotus pool down into the ground (could D-form the ground and create a little pond. And Chinese Courtyard has got a lot of vases and props that would actually look good on the deck. (a little stone pagoda.) It's got a bench swing that would really fit in.
Asian River has a lot of nice tropical plants and I'd pot those for the interior of Shaded Sanctuary.
@icedragonart Your link to the attic is wrong, it goes to Shaded Sanctuary. That attic and hellscape would be more RRRR than anything that could be practical and combined. You're right, that's way out there!
@nath Oh yes, quite fun with those combos. Hard to imagine that train car in a Moroccan town!
I had put the Shoot First Corner on a deck the past few days, I think it would actually also go well inside the Pergoda Venue.
Hmmm, the Frozen World has a beautiful sky, that would look awesome for the outside lighting and view from the Steampunk Workshop.
Frozen World/Steampunk Workshop - yesss, though the one I'm seeing in mind right now is Hellscape/Dig
I looked, and my next combo would be the treehouse and Shoot First Corner. So I'd just plop the seating from the Shoot First Corner on the upper deck of the treehouse.
Next is Collective3d Movie Sets Victorian Exterior with Archaeological Dig Site Oh heavens. Imagine a broken down Victorian House being discovered, buried and being dug up!
Fixed the link. I had to laugh at my last one, all I could think of is that most guys who are forced to watch chick flicks with their significant other probably feel like they are in hell anyway lol.
OT
Me and my dog Emerald got adopted by this furball last night as she came in when I opened the patio door and made herself at home.
I named her Nudge because she's a big nudge
@robertfreise AWWWWWWW! Adorable and looks like quite the talker. Nudge fits her- great name!!!!
Has anyone tried Tom's Trees yet? I have several sets from Whitemagus and am pleased. These look interesting, but the images are too small to tell.
I've seen many examples of PAs misnaming folders so unnecessary duplicate categories are created, cluttering the library, but this one is really the worst one yet - whole new Genesis 8 and 3 Female(s) categories for just one hair. Why does QA not catch things like that? Have anyone ever reported such things and having them fixed? I haven't noticed any of those I've seen/see being fixed so far.
Awww! Looks like a sweetie!
Sadly, yes. Mostly on the older Poser files but I've seen it multiple times. I usually go in and rename it and then it falls into the right category by default. But, you shouldn't have to do that to begin with
I report bad folders all the time. They used to be fixed quickly but now they aren’t. Still better To report it.
The store needs an editor and style guide quite badly. These types of directory errors are preventable if they hire someone with attention to detail who reviews installers before they are dispatched.
OK, tried in DS to rename the extra Genesis 8 folder to the same name as the regular one, but that didn't work. Had to open the folders in Explorer and drop the hairs into the right folders and then delete the redundant ones.
OK, will report it and see if it's getting fixed.
I agree, there need to be some more strict guidelines for the PAs in general. Some of the testing could be automated also, an error like this one could easily be caught, and even fixed, automatically, by a test app.
