Best Quality G3m & G8M Mats, as in most close up detail available?
Any tips on setting to exploit the details.
Thanks

My personal favorites are any of DarwinsMishaps boys or GypsyAngel's.
I find any of the DAZ Originals that are meant to actually be realistic work quite well. I don't really have a favorite among them but use what the scene I want to build needs. The effect works best at HD, FHD, and especial UHD resolution and as a head & shoulders shot. Full body shots loose much of the detail that tricks the eye momentarily (because everything else in the render typically falls so far from being realistically modeled as the skin textures are in comparison). It's easier to make skin textures seem to render more realistically that are tanned because the light reflections and refractions and such contrast more easily the more tanned the skin is but the lighter textures are behaving the same way it is not as readily visibly apparent because the lesser contrast between the gloss and the skin.
Sometimes you might in the surfaces tabs for the skin and nail surfaces increase the bump strength or decrease the bump strength on the surface depending on what the render shows you. For must renders I think a bump strength of 4 or 5 is good if you are trying to simulate a closeup portrait with a modern high resolution digital camera. I think in Genesis 8 the skin surfaces now have a default bump strength of 5 n the realistic DAZ Studio skin bump strength settings. Older analogue camera or profressional potrait studio type photos need lesser bump strength because those pores and such details are considered poor photography and unflattering.
If you have a high-speed discrete video card the best thing to do is to render head & shoulder & full body shots with the DAZ default scene HRDI lighting which is actually quite good for portraits and decide for yourself what your scene needs.
I'll take a look thanks
