...country songwriter, singer, and Country Music Hall of Fame star Mel Tillis passed away this morning, he was 85. Tillis we known for stuttering due to a bout with malria when he was young but it never affected his singing.

I remember him from Cannonball Run. At the time, I didn't know who he was, but I figured he had to be pretty important to be in that movie. It gets harder and harder to watch those old movies every year.
