I'm using the new DAZ 4.X version and would appreciate you all's help!

Oh! I can't find Squirt around here.
For rendering a longer amount of time in the render tab in the render settings just set the Max Time from the default 7200 seconds to a higher number of seconds. Or say you want every render to do 10,000 iRay iteration before complete: set the Max Time (secs) to 0 and set the Max Samples to 10000. You will also have to turn off Quality Enable otherwise the iRay render engine might decide the image has reached the desired quality (default 95%) before it reaches 10000 samples.
Um.. I think you might have left out a step or two because your explantion does not flow seemlessly.... Is this in Editor with it's myriad of options? Or is it in the Advanced Options side?
I'm thinking that you are probably talking about the Editor portion.. .. But I'm still not seeing what you are talking about. Sorry...

Sorry, I figured you have enough experience with computers and DAZ Studio to look around and find the settings I mentioned.
With me you have to always assume that you are talking to a small child.
And to make matters worse.. The Progressive Render tab was not lit.. It was dark causing me to overlook it again, and again, and..... Again.
Well DAZ UI is very, very busy so it's really a case of being practical if you haven't explored it much...you do have renders you want to get to after all...
