Welcome to my demo reel of these Sci Fi Funk made Low Poly Houses!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eX7Tt_bi5U

These are 3D models that look good from medium to long range distances with such low memory usage that you can literally fit thousands of them into a single scene.

Here is my demo reel for my low poly houses as used in Episode 7 and Episode 8 of Sci Fi Funk - the animated series. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwJAZ_WBsM8)

The models range from just 20k each up to 90k each. The largest and most complex looking are only 48k each.

These 3D Models were made in Carrara. I built them up from components such as Windows and Doors. The houses themselves are empty inside and the vast majority of the detail is reserved for the front of the house.

This is to save on space which is paramount if you are trying to re-create the East End of London as I have in this animation.

    Thanks Head Wax.

    That's what I created them for - a flyover.

    Very, very cool!!!
Love it, man. You know Steve, we can never have too many of these. You keep bringing them here and I'll just keep adding them to your list of video tutorials in the manual thread. I have been MIA for the most part lately, with the exception of a bunch of quick ramblimgs in a few threads here and there. I think that I missed one of your posts... Please know that fairly soon I'll be going through and grabing a whole bunch of threads that really need to be added - and I'll make sure I have all of your wonderful contributions taken care of properly.

Rock On Steve at Sci Fi Funk!

    Thanks Dartan.

Yes I see you are busy with your DAZ product.

Just to clarify this one is a demo not a tutorial, but I'd be grateful if you include it in a demo list if you have one.

    Cheers!
