    Nice, Horo...looks like gravitional lensing.

  • @ mtnmen: Fantastic Idea! I Love it.

@ Horo: It's like being pulled into the picture when you look at it. Fasinating work.

Horo : There is some attraction to get inside the image. Cool !

mtnman - thank you. To be honest, your Space-Time Continuum inspired me.

Jay, drachenlords and adbc - thank you.

Nice one. AdBc...the model, the lighting is super-looking.

Jeez, the renders so far posted (a compliment to you all above) are really upping the challenge...phew.

Horo, very original and great space render.

adbc: great model and light. I might have liked more variation in the mountains, though.

OK, so I made one scene. However, I made three renders, since I doubt what would be better. Would love some advice!

First: version 1 with premium render (true ambiance)

Second: version 1 with regular antialiasing render

third: version 2 with regular antialiasing render.

I might make a version 2 with premium render too (but that takes much longer).

The title will in any case be: 'Life on Mars?'

Hehhe, Hansmar...'Mars bar' (thinking, eh, outside the box). To be honest, I can't see much difference in all three, but 1 appeals more.

    mermaid010 :  thanks

    mtnmen : thanks

Hansmar : thanks, _ But was supposeing it's another planet

_And Life on Mars? is well done and a good concept

Horo : Multispaces is one of these Multi Universes ??

    Jamahoney : thanks

Hansmar : thanks, the mountains were intended to look that way, is only one terrain with a grey material and just a little bit of bump, no colour. I used the lights for the coloured effect.

Life on Mars : I would go for the first image, but that's only my opinion.

adbc - very cool scene, great Wings3D work on the station. I like the mountains, making this a strange place. Nice sky, too.

Hansmar - thank you - great scene, I prefer the first one, it has more contrast than the second one and I feel the yellow/green cloud beyond the planet is a bit strange.

ed3D - thank you. Yes, Multiverse would fit better but this is a challenge about Space, not the Universe ... wink

Jamahoney, ed3D, adbc, Horo: Thanks. There is quite a convergence of opinions here, it seems. So, I will follow your lead, but add the two 'stars' or 'planets', that I added in the middle in the first version. I will upload the end result and that will be my first entry.

    Thanks again.

  • @ adbc: Great Model and fantastic Scene.

@ Hansmar: Cool idea and well done. My favorit is the second.

    Drachenlords: thanks.

I now made my final version, so this is my first entry. Title: Life on Mars?

Made the chocolatebar and aliens myself in Hexagon. The planet is a combination of 'earth-like planet' with the earth texture for one of the layers. The 'cigare-like' item at the bottom right is actually a light with a texture, which is inside a form with another texture. Somehow, the combination leads to the 'shadow-region' underneath the planet and the cigar-like item.

So, now thinking about my next entry....

Horo: great work. good idea with the console. I am afraid they'll crash, since that planet looks very close.

ed3D: Nice start with this hovering object. Build on it to make a great work.

    StuartB: Very dramatic! Looks special

  • adbcadbc Posts: 3,115

Horo : great atmosphere and lighting, instrument panel is very detailed, I wonder which button has to be pushed to avoid a planetary crash.

ed3D : a good start, I'm sure it will become a nice scene.

StuartB : nice environment to drift off into space !

  • HoroHoro Posts: 10,636

Hansmar - thank you; cool Life in Mars.

    ed3D - good start.

StuartB - great sky lab scene.

adbc - thank you. No worry, this is a fly-by.
