Do you need the chain? If not, I can model up something like this tag in minutes and post in Rendo Freebies. But not the chain, that would take some time. Custom name and message in raised lettering on the tag would be easy to add. Would this work for you?

That would be great! I think a chain can be found, I have some necklaces for Genesis, one will work for it, I hope...
    Thank you very much!!!

What message / name would you like on the tag? I will make 2x3.5 business card dimensions. Message can be in Rockwell or Ariel font and centered, horizontally in the tag.

ALSO do you want rubber "bumpers" or just stamped aluminum tag?

    Great!
Rubber is not needed, just something like this

May be the text will be added/altered with the texture/bump?

Don't know exactly what text I will need...

Text can either be raised 3d mesh, or add a decal (you supply a .jpg I will apply via UV ) or you can add your own texture to a flat tag. I will make a sample of each. I will use "Joe I. Render" as a name and Alpha Unit in the USMC. I added the body-bag "tooth notch" tag retainer from the WWII types.

The rubber applied to dog tags are silencers used in the field. If you are in a situation where you want no extraneous noise, even chain is encased in a rubber tube.

Ahhh that's how they can sneak up on snakes and snack on them...

Ok hope this meets expectations. Several versions included, A pair on chain as seen and some loose 1 with embossed print, another with flat surface and 3rd with printed textures. Good for close ups as these are detailed. I learned to made a chain using ZBrushes new "MM" brush.
