How to copy rigging?

edited December 1969 in Daz Studio Discussion

I have made an figure using the split morph technique where you set part to 0 size in hexagon.
I used the leg part of the Anubis figure and adjusting the hip/ abdomen edge letting upper body stay default. After finding that the split morph did not transfer joints setup I copied the rigging for Anubis legs this make the figure poses well.

However then I try to add clothes like pants or skirts this does not work well. This is a bit strange as they work well on an figure with the Anubis morph. What is i'm doing wrong here?
I guess the joints should be added to the morph and not the figure but has no idea how to do this.

If you've created a new figure with adjusted rigging then the clothes don't know they need to change - the transfer tracks changes from the base state of the figure and applies them to the clothes. If you want to keep the ability to conform clothing you need to load the new shape as a morph, adjust the rigging to match (using the automatic function or manually) and then link those changes to the morph. Post four and on in my mini-tutorial on morph fixing covers this http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/254575/

Thanks has to try this out and see if I manage. The fun thing is that the skirt for Anubis fits. nothing else. However everything fits with the Anubis morph. Should be an way to fool skirt and pants into believing I was using it :)
