Its a tough thing and you made a good transition to this new setting, that aside, whats the gear on the soldiers?
I combined a few different products, all from the Daz store.
Their suits are from Time Assassin. I used DG Iray Action Fabrics Shader on the suits to change the textures.
The rifles are from the SciFi Weapons Collection. I converted the textures to IRAY. Their backpacks came from Planet Explorer for Genesis 2 Male(s). I changed the textures on them as well.

A Sci-Fi superhero team I call the Crimson Avengers (subject to better ideas). They get their powers from nanotech and cybernetics.
Here are a couple I did for contests in the past. The ship model was made by me and the renders were done in IRAY 4.8. The backgrounds were found on the web and/or modified by combining several before use. This is as good a time as any to start diong something with the characters that I've created for the "Sladen Stories" universe.
I have no intention of doing any full blown web comic, just a series of fun comic style panels exploring whatever comes to mind during Clara Sladen's tenure as Captain of her ship (That I have not thought of a name for yet...)

I'm working on a webcomic right now, some panels are out on dA already, these two are the first from the second page (after the intro page, that is) so right at the beginning.
I've never posted on the forums before. But I thought I would share this light-scifi scene because I'm not going to be able to render it in full until I fork over some serious money to add more RAM. Would love any and all critique!

Wow. You might want to also delete the GSO tutorial I did on the Non-photorealistic rendering thread. It has much more nudity in it than the pics you deleted here did. The women in the tutorial don't have their breasts covered up by shadows.
