M4 Hockey

I recently purchased the hockey products for M4 - "Hockey Player M4 Bundle"

But I am having a terrible time to  get the stick to pose correctly with the player poses.

I read the following from the the included readme.

But the stick poses nowhere near the player. And yes I am parenting the right stick to the right hand and then choicing the recommend poses for the right hand stick player.

I also tried the left stick and left player poses with similar results.

Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated...

I'm using DAZ Studio 1.10.

Below is from the readme which I am following...

  • You can find new icons for loading this product in the following Poser Libraries:
    • Pose: "Hockey Poses"
  • Product Notes:
    • Parent the stick to M4's hand before posing the figure.
      • Use the Hockey Stick (Right or Left) that corresponds to the guiding hand used in the pose.
      • The Stick Should be Parented to the Left Hand for the Following Poses:
        • Hockey-01 and Mirror Pose
        • Hockey-02 and Mirror Pose
        • Hockey-21 Mirror Pose
        • Hockey-22 Mirror Pose
        • Hockey-23 Mirror Pose
      • The Stick Should be Parented to the Right Hand for the Following Poses:
        • Hockey-03 and Mirror Pose

    PS: I do love this product very much and hopefully there is a fix for my issue. It needs a hockey goalie product to compliment the players...

    I am planning to buy that bundle too. You'll find problems on these older products quite often. I think the solution though is to delete the rigging if they attached any to the hockey stick & re-rig using the transfer utility...

    ...or something like that. I haven't bought yet so I haven't tried it out yet. Let's hope someone else chimes in that is sure.

    I'm not acquainted with rigging or the transfer utility...

    Being an avid fan of hockey (I played recreational organized hockey until my early 50s), I am very keen on this hockey set. But I would like to create an outdoor scene of some lads enjoying a scrimmage of pond hockey.

    This set is neat but I can not useabe with it's current issues.

    Does this transfer utility transfer the props and poses over to a newer Genesis figure?

    Or should one use Poser or an older version of Daz Studio for the older M4/V4 characters?

    Just tried Poser Pro 2012 and the hockey stick seems to pose fine.

    Ok. Found what the problem was. Poses work fine in DAZ Studio 4.10.

    The documentation seems to indicate to use pose Hockey-01m Pose and   Hockey-01m StickPose when parenting left stick to left hand.

    I tried this and it did not work. As this is obviously for a right handed shooter.

    However when I tried poses Hockey-01 Pose on M4 and Hockey-01m StickPose  on the stick it worked.

    Just a bit of confusion in the documentation and with me...

    Product seems to be superb.

    Hoping someone does a goalie to compliment this set.

    Cool, I will definitely be buying the bundle too. I'm glad you resolved the problem.
