My problem from my earlier post seems to be caused by my operating system. I have to reinstal windows, but my problem is that I do not have a windows 10 disc.
My computer came with windows 8 and I got 10 through Microsoft updates. Anyway, my question is will Daz 4.10 run on Windows 8? I need to know before I
do this system wipe. Thanks for your help.

If your computer came with windows 8 and upgraded it will automatically accept windows 10 and activate properly when you reinstall using the windows 10 download for the version you have.
As chickenman says you just need to reinstall, Windows will recognise the system and not prompt for a serial. To get the ISO for DVD or bootable USB drive go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
