How can I get the program to show me a list of just what is in the content pane, but is not in the smart pane?  So i can try to start going through everything that doesn't have metadata and try to fix it.  Id really like to get it so that everything I have is in the smart pane

If you installed with DIM anything with metadata will have checkmark by it in the installed pane.

The install pane?  That doesn't have anything to do with what I am asking.  I am trying to find out how to compare the list of everything that I can see in my content pane, to what is available in the smart content pane.. so I can get a list of everything that isn't showing up properly in the smart content.. that way i can start going through and fixing those.

I think what jestmart meant was that if you look at the DIM Installed pane it marks products which do have metadata, but conversely products without a tick do not have it, so that gives you the start of your list.

Thank you for the clarification on checking through DIM, that does help me start making a list.    The filtering link I am unsure about, because I don't see anything in Daz or DIM that has an option for creating a filter?  I suppose there is too much to hope for that there is a script or addon that will just scan my content folder and then compare what is in there to what Daz shows and fix it the discrepencies for me...

Place "meta::true" (without quotes) in the Filter Field (http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/install_manager/referenceguide/interface/filter_field/start) to see packages that do contain metadata, or "meta::false" to see packages that don't have metadata. Save/access a filter via the Filter Menu Button (http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/install_manager/referenceguide/interface/filter_menu_button/start). If you haven't already, download the "Install Manager Default Filters" package for many pre-defined filters.
