With a risk to be torn apart by angry people with various definitions of "freebie" I want to thank ARTCollaborations for making The Bookcase Collection freebie this week. It is something simple and nice and comes with books. Thank you :)

Yes, it is nice. I put in my cart, but it tells me there is nothing in my in my cart, when I go to check out. Now, it won't let me put it in my cart again. I am going to try to log out, and back in again. Will let you know if it works.

I'll add my thank you as well. I am looking forward to being able to play with them. The only bad things about them are that they are just the type of bookcases that I would love to have for my books. Oh well, at least my characters/avatars/ figures can enjoy them. :-)

Put something else (another item entirely) in your cart, then remove that particular item. That should fix it.

Once you are sure you are logged in to the store, if the item doesn't appear in your cart, try adding an extra item, and then click on the cart, Hopefully you now have the tiem you want in therre, and can remove the one you don't want before checking out.

Thanks Chohole and Spiderland. I logged out and logged back in, still nothing. Went to see products purchased. They had taken my monthly payment out today. I clicked on it to check it, then looked up, the bookcases was in my cart. I checked out real fast. It just took a bit, before it showed it was in my cart. Things must be slow today. Have a great day everyone.

Joining you in thanking the vendor for this product. It would be nice though if there were more freebies from other great vendors as well.

I had a similar problem once, and putting in the extra product into the cart as suggested above solved the problem. Nice set of shelves, btw!

Yes I like these as well. I especially like the ones with the glass doors in front. Some of the attorneys at the firm I used to work at had them in their offices.

Thank you guys. I really hope you enjoy them.

If you put something in your cart by mistake while not logged in it won't show then try logging in and adding again. I have where if I am not logged in and add something to cart, once I log in it disappears so I have to re-add them.

Yes, let me add my thanks as well. I love digital bookcases AND digital books.

My Joe used to lie on the couch and read and would go through at least one book a day. Three years ago he had a heart attack (he's okay) and was gone for several weeks. During that time I noticed that the space behind the couch (about two feet between the couch and the bookcase along the wall and not humanly accessible) was filled with books, tossed over the back of the couch when he finished reading them! It was his corner of the world and I had never intruded (obviously).

    I got him a Kindle.

    Problem solved.

I love that style of bookcase - I have a half-height one in my bedroom.

Echoing the "thank you" for making a virtual version!

You guys make so many things I wish I had in the "real" world.

My balcony is dreadfully empty. But I have to admit it's mostly because ...

There are no lights/electrical outlets on the balcony.

Though I'm not afraid of heights, I'm on the 10th floor and my overly active imagination has me positive the balcony will collapse.

and ... the thought of my neighbors seeing me from their balconies makes me shudder.

Well, that and the stinkbugs that have invaded the US. It's totally amazing how these big bugs are able to squeeze through the smallest opening and then make themselves at home IN my home every summer!

Now a nice balcony scene would be a good idea.

Might I suggest the one in Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene 2? :-)

(Actually, the parts to construct that particular balcony scene are available at Poser World... but I believe they predate D|S 3, so I don't know whether one would describe them as "nice" any more.)

As long as it includes a screen for privacy from the neighbors!
