Hi.
Are there any Render settings that will help produce a great, Full HD render?
As for advice... I would like to start making money from my renders (commissions etc), but I have no idea where to start. So some advice would be really great.
Thanks ^^

Not really. A bad render is probably going to look worse in HD size. Need to have good lighting, composition, color harmony etc etc.
To save time, I usually get the lighting set up where I need it, then make sure it renders bright, and darken if needed in post work(renders that are really lit up render faster). I also usually try to render larger than I need it and scale down to size. Also under filter, if you use lancoz or mitchell set to 1.2 or more it gives it a nice extra sharpness look. I always find guassian filter to be too soft.
What, beyond image size (which can be set in the General group in Render Settings' Editor tab), is needed? Remember that DS renders don't have a PPI setting, they are just a certain number of pixels wide and tall, so if you need to supply the images with a set PPI you do that in an image editor (with Resample off so the pixel count stays the same).
