Hi.

I was just exploring an item by Jim Burton and noticed one of the files is a .sit file.
Am I right in thinking this is for the Apple computer only or is it also for installanation with the item on Windows.

Thanks.

It is an old Mac installer that (from my knowledge) is no longer recognizable by newest Macs. Again, from my knowledge *.sit along with *.exe for PC will be phased out starting May 15th, 2013, and common *.zip, usable for both computers, will be used instead. You don't have to use DIM to use new zips either.

It's the StuffIt file format, which has been around on Macs for a long time.

You can use StuffIt Expander (free) to extract this, among many other file formats (e.g., zip, rar, etc.).
