Which (if any) species did you have in mind? I'm not up on the categories by any means, but I do know it's a big field. Here are a couple of snapshots that I took this year (2017), one up north of here (Algonquin Park, Canada) that was about the size of a 5-cent piece IIRC, and one slightly larger one at my brother's house.

I think this is a game of bringing together businesses -- who would benefit from sponsoring certain categories of computer models, but who don't know that, yet -- and PA's or fanciers-who-also-know-3D. Just as an example, in the hat business Tilley Hats Ltd. is right near me... would having a free hat or two available for Genesis be of use to them? You betcha!!! It's an issue though of bringing the necessary players and funding together. Right now though if you go up to the average business person it's like trying to sell web pages say twenty years ago.   Anyway that's my two cents for what it's worth.

I don't know if it's possible to load the flowers without the hair and there's no actual plant, but possibly if you needed the flower only you could extract it from this or another hair product: https://www.daz3d.com/irena-hair-for-genesis-2-female-s

Yes indeed.  In fact nowadays you can even change the category that you have posted in as well,  all done using the edit button which is availalble from the gear icon at the right top of your post
