Iris size

Even with limits turned off, I can't seem to get the iris size in G8 as large as I would like it. Is there some trick to doing that?

  • I have a morph under parameters - head  - eyes called iris in size or something like that and that increases the iris size.Not sure where it came from because I have a lot of morph packs but try and type iris in the parameters and see what comes up

  • You can scale the eyes themselves.

    Yes, I tried that with limits off, but it is still limited. I dialed past 600 but there was no change after 100.

    Really? It won't make the eyes pop out of the head? I will have to try that after I finish this render. In previous generations, (but not sure about G3) I was able to get those huge toon size irises, especially with G1 and A4. The Dolly morph helps I think, with larger eyes, but I want to get the irises to fill the whole socket practically. Oh, wait, I do have a fantasy morph set, I will have to check if there's a morph there. I did do a large iris eyed character with that but not sure if there was an extra eye morph or part of a full head morph...

    It will, you'll have to translate them backwards.

    Oh cool, this works, thanks!

  • Great you got it working @wonderland. Loved the pretty big eye girls you made in the Dolly for G8 thread.

    Thanks @ALLIEKATBLUE laugh They are fun to do!

    That usually means the morph parameter is just a controller for another morph — you'll have to release limits in the other morph as well. In this case it's a pair of hidden morphs, which complicates things a bit. I've tried switching to Show Hidden Parameters, but I can't get the hidden morphs to show.

    You can find them in Parameters tab. PHMEyesIrisSize_neg and PHMEyesIrisSize_pos

    <headdesk>

    OK, got it. I was looking under Actor, I should have been looking under Hidden. I forgot that extra parameter category pops up when I set Show Hidden.
