Gender Bias

So why is it that only pro bundle or character deals available in this loyalty sale are the female characters? They include males in the "if you own any of these figures you can get one of these others on sale," but there are no male figures included.

I wondered that myself. I"m sure it's because male stuff doesn't sell/isn't popular. But that just means my money is safe in my wallet.

  • Maybe you already own the ones being featured. I know I do.

  • I see Michael 8 and Lucas 8 in the Pro Bundle section when not logged in.

4 generations of Michael are there, but no other male characters.

The Michaels are in there. Admittedly only the Michaels but there are slim pickings all around.

Yeah. It's almost, as if, no, other, male figures, of any generation, even exist. >_>

It's almost only Victorias in there too. I think it's a fair sampling of the actual gender split that exists in those generations lol

I guess I don't see the Michaels because I own them. But I am still surprised that there are other options for the females and not the males.

  • Everything there was released early in cycle. I'm betting they're going to get switched out later.

You'll have to start rendering female characters then, won't you?  devil

I would guess that the feeling is that, at this point, the market for the older female character bases is a lot more glutted than that for the male characters.  That is to say, those who use the male product are more likely to actually pay for the bundles up for the older characters, as there are more physical types that haven't been adapted to G8M.. or even G3M... when compared to how quickly the "old favorites" are being ported to G8F.   .

Well you could always use that money to support a PA that has products you haven't purchased yet. laugh

I currently have a G8 guy with a unique body shape on sale with a bunch correction and some flex JCMs and HD anatomical bits; and a few G3 that have the same features. To the OP: You do those comics and my store is 40% today; you're not going to get some of these goodies in a Pro pack devil
