Select the surface of the object that you want to be Transparent, and then go to the Surfaces pane.
In there, you will find a slider labelled 'Opacity Strength', which is normally set at 100%, adjust it to a lower value till you get the look that you want. In the case of sunglasses, you can also adjust the 'Diffuse Color' slider to make it a brownish colour, or whatever you need.
Your glasses will need to have seperate materials for the glass part, or the entire object will be transparent. You can select just the polygons for the glass if that is not the case, but it is a bit more involved.
hi, thank you for your reply. now i have another question: is it possible to use morph loader on a Poser 8 figure and if so, how do i do that?
Morph loader is used to create morphs by working out the difference between the vertices original position, and the new position from a target, it only works on the mesh itself, so yes, it should work.
What do you want to do with the Poser 8 figure? You know that you cannot remove or add any vertices to create your morph?
i was trying to morph the face of a poser 8 figure with an obj head that was created using the Facegen Exporter for Daz 4.0 that i was using prior to upgrading to DAZ 4.5 but the morphs don't load and i don't understand why they don't.
What format are the morph files in (file extension), I don;t know much about Facegen I'm afraid.
When you say the morphs don't load, is there any error message, and did you look in the log file, Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File?
