DSON importer problems

I have installed DSON importer into the same location as Poser Pro 2012, and in Poser, DSON support is listed under scripts as expected. I have added Genesis starter essentials and Genesis starter essentials for poser into a new folder, and the content is showing up in the library. However, when I try to load anything, I get the message "Traceback (most recent call last):
File "D:\Poser runtimes\DAZ genesis\Runtime\libraries\Character\DAZ People\Basic Female.py", line 1, in
import dson.dzdsonimporter
ImportError: No module named dson.dzdsonimporter"
and nothing loads. When I do a search of my computer, no file named dson.dzdsonimporter is found anywhere.
Can anyone help? Is something installed in the wrong place?

    You are using SR3 for Poser, and you do have the right bit version of the importer - 32 or 64?

    I think SR3 may be the problem. I only purchased Poser a month ago, but it was from Amazon, so I don't know how recent a version it is. I've tried downloading the service upgrade but I've been unable to install it, as i keep getting an error saying 'deletefile failed: code 5 Access denied'. I've contacted Poser support tonight to see what's going on there so maybe if they can sort that I can re-install DSON importer and see if it works.
    I do have the right version (64 bit) installed.

    SR3 was the problem. I've managed to download it now and everything seems fine
