OT Windows 7 alert

I noticed that I hadn't gotten any windows 7 updates lately. I went to Windows Update and tried to run 'check for updates'; but I kept getting an error message. Then I found this article:

and the fix was fairly simple. I set the date on my computer back to 2 Dec and ran 'check for updates' which then worked; Down loaded and installed the important updates and then restarted the computer; reset date back to  the current date and the check for updates is now working again. So, hopefully, automatic updates is also working again.

...I disabled W7 updating back on Sept 30th 2016 when they dispensed with individual updates and went to the bundled format where it's "all or nothing" (like W10), no more picking and choosing.
