    My gosh, I learned so much from those cartoons besides the laughs. June Foray died this year too.

    Cartoons in general, from that time frame - and yes, that's what got me interested in classical music at an early age. A function of both Columbia and WB having house orchestras and most classical music being non-copyright. Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies and Dvorak's Slavonic Dances showed up in sooo many cartoons, along with assorted Strauss waltzes and the odd opera or two. But off all the cartoon houses I have to say I liked the WB the most - and of those, the Bugs and Elmer, followed closely by the Bugs and Daffy cartoons.
