Can't get Install Manager to show?

Hi
I've just installed DS4, works fine, and downloaded and installed DIM but I can't get it to show up.
I click on the file to start and cogs and gears whirr for a while but nothing happens. The Task Manager doesn't show it under Applications and it shows as daz3dim.exe under Processes but there's nothing anywhere else.
I'm on Windows 7 64bit, Firefox 20.0.1 and have given it permission through the firewall. Nothing shows up and I'm on my 5th attempt to download the Genesis essentials (it bombs out around the 24-40MB mark).
Is there something obvious that I'm doing/done wrong?
Thanks for any help
Vic

See if you have an nvinit.dll in Windows\SysWOW64 -- if so, rename it to nvinit.bak and see if that solves the problem.
Hi fixmypcmike
Thanks for the reply.
Tried what you wrote, (also have it twice in Windows System 32 driver store) but it doesn't seem to do anything. Still ended up with the wheels spinning with nothing much to show, just the Process.
I'm heartened now that I've been able to download more than 72% of the Genesis gear, crossing fingers that the rest will download.
Thanks again
Vic
You can also try stopping and restarting the CMS service; Install Manager attempts to connect to the CMS if it is running before displaying its UI.
- Start > All Programs > DAZ 3D > DAZ Content Management Service > Stop DAZ Content Management Service
If you open Task Manager and DAZ3DIM.exe is already running, you may see the Install Manager UI display shortly after stopping the service. If you want Install Manager to insert data into the database, you'll want to close Install Manager at this point and restart the service.
- Start > All Programs > DAZ 3D > DAZ Content Management Service > Start DAZ Content Management Service
After the service has been restarted, restart Install Manager.
