Free Sci Fi apartment

Hey all. Anyone know of a free sci fi apartment? I need one for a project but broke until payday. And I'm on a self imposed timetable cos I have a ton of other projects I'm doing. Anybody got any leads? Thanks in advance.

Here's a freebie one. You could probably scale it up and add a bed: http://www.sharecg.com/v/87069/browse/5/3D-Model/Sci-Fi-Cubby

    Here's a freebie sci-fi house: http://www.sharecg.com/v/72607/related/5/3D-Model/Exotic-Scifi-House

Here's a Starship Cabin that could probably be converted into a small apartment: http://www.sharecg.com/v/22131/related/11/Poser/Starship-Cabin-UPDATED

  • Thanks! I'm completely broke, and no longer deal with Rendo(long story), but I'll definitely check the others out! Been scouring Sharecg, and haven't really found what I need. Thanks!

Maybe you can use this.  Put some sci-fi furnature in it?

This is a cool thread.  I am thinking of checking out these freebies when I get home on the computer.

I'd grabbed that, but it's just for making the rooms. What I need is a premade apartment, in a style similar to (but not just a copy of) Kirk's apartment in TWOK.

On my DA site you'll find some preassembled modules for sfman freebie
  • So I've decided to juat bite the bullet and put together a set myself. Using Shinjuku Living as a base set, rearranged a couple walls, replaced the doors with sliding doors, and am refurnishing the apartment to fit in with what you'd see in the TOS Trek era. Here's where I'm at with the WIP:

  • That's nice, I'd live there.

Thanks! I just hope this building project won't screw up my timetable on the project this is for...but if it does, it does. Btw I had to change out the couch, as it ate up too much room. I used a couch from Patience55's TMP furniture.

I think you've done a very fine job of kit-bashing and getting things together!

Thanks! I tend to be rather good at kitbashing. :) About the only way I can get what I need.

Sometimes I think kit bashing is needed as the artist who creates the original scene might have forgotten something I think I need for the scene.  Like a chair or sofa in a room scene with nothing to sit on.

Almost everything I use, except for people and real world animals - tends to be some kind of kitbash. Mainly cos I seem to have far more epic ideas than the artists who make the models! All my Godzilla stuff for my fanart and comics are kitbashed, as is the bulk of my Trek stuff. And I've even kitbashed clothing.

I love how you've repurposed Gary Seven's computer (from "Assignment: Earth"), just like the original series itself did when making "All Our Yesterdays".

I also smiled when you incorporated Captain Pike's "entertainment center"  in the earlier renders.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

Thanks! The tv was gonna be a wall mounted viewscreen, but I felt that since this part of the story happens around the middle of the Enterprise's 5 year mission, it'd make sense to fit that style more. And Pike's tv was the best fit. :)

  • Here's a couple new WIPS. I'm about to say it's ready.
