pose animation and anti-block pose packs question

I never buy these, though I like some of the poses I see because I don't use daz to animate (only animate to drape clothing). And I don't know what anti-block means or is for. My end goal is still images for book covers.

My question is, what does 'anti-block' mean and are either of these types of products actually useful for my needs?

  • AniBlock, not anti-block. An AniBlock is an aniamtion in the form used by AniMate, which allows greater flexibility than a simple animated pose.

Yes you can render poses using aniblocks for sure.  I just don't know the difference in the free animate functionality and the paid version.  I've been using the paid one for ever.

For your purposes you would just use the animate tab to slide to tracker the frame you want to render.  Ez pz

Not only can you render stills from the aniblocks, but you can add the blocks together on the same frame (called subtracks, at least in the paid one). or use the block and hand pose certain pieces. for example I made an aniblock with the footpose for certain shoes. this way everytime  I apply a standard pose, I don't have to go find the clothing folder and reapply the special foot pose.

so in this case  I'm not even using any real aniblocks or animations  ^_^ basically i have an aniblock that is always active (in this case) that keeps the foot posed right. anyway cool stuff to tinker with.
