    Wow, my favorite TV show, Dick Van Dyke. Or at least one of them. She played more of the "straight man" though didn't she? I recall Rob Petrie and Buddy Sorrell were the funny ones. I've probably seen each episode maybe 20 times.

    I think she was my 1st favorite TV character that I can remember. I haven't seen that show since the 60s I am surprised I remember her still yet; but she & Morey Amsterdam where that good.

    Not really, she was the subtle one of the trio. Rob and Buddy were more slapstick, Sally and Laura were more straight funny. Mel was probably the most subtle of them all, but when he got a zinger in, it drew blood.
