Hi All

Having a problem getting a piece of clothing to fit correctly.

I have modeled a Tube Top in Maya against the V5 model I exported.
I have defined the Material Groups properly and gave them the same names as in Daz
lcollar.rcollar etc.

When I import the model, it fits very well on the V5 model, utill I use the Transfer Utility.
The model shifts down in the Y axis and don't understand why this is happening.
tI keeps the same form and shape, but is does not fit anymore.

Here are two screenshots of what I mean.

any suggestions would be helpful.

Make sure you scale V5 to 100% before exporting, then use Reverse Deformations when rigging.

Just checked and It was export @ 100%

The first screen shot did not show up.

Here's what it looks like before using the Transfer Utility.

Assuming your clothes made for V5 morph, dial V5 morph and import the obj.
Then in transfer utility, under Source select Genesis, Shape > Current, and for Target select the obj with shape -> Default.

Press "Show Options" and select "Reverse Source Shape From Target"

Also, you don't need to define lCollar, Chest groups, etc, only material zones. Genesis rig is of "one-skin" kind, there is no group splits.

Thank you so much, it worked.

I tried so many different import setting in the Transfer Utility, I guess I missed that one.
