Looking to take your temperature on a Ice Wall prop. I'm a fan of Game of Thrones and thought it might be fun. Not sure anyone wants to stand out in the cold. I did a pic with the PC gear I got here at DAZ.

With winter coming to the other 1/2 of the globe it's always cold somewhere.

I'm a huge fan of Game of Thrones too, though I've read the books, not seen the HBO series. This is looking pretty good sir. :coolsmirk:

...I never saw the series or read the books and I still like this. With the 4.6s ability to use SSS , it really would look like ice.

This looks really cool, literally and figuratively! I love snowy and icy environments. I'd definitely buy it.

While my friends are going to Mexico, Hawaii, the Caribbean etc, I'm vacationing in the Canadian Arctic.

When I first seen this it sort of reminded me of this video:

    Crystalize

I kept thinking wow that looks cool and if we had something like for 3D how could it be lit up like that :-). Just wondering if it is possible. I do like what you have done :-)! My daughther showed me this vid today as she is home from college for the summer and all I thought was wow she is something.

Ghost he is great looking, is that from your set. He has that old world charm that says I will cut you in half with a sword.
I tried a render with Stonemason's winter set.

Actually, he is a mix up of two existing sets of mine. The Knights and Knaves set for the morph and the Dwarf for the texture. When I was doing Knights and Knaves I didn't have any textures that really worked so I just sort of made them all universal. It helps that there are now outfits that sort of work too. The beard is using the unshaven set on top of mine.

And thanks for letting me show them AntFarm. Didn't want to intrude but they do go well together.

It is a cool prop (no pun intended) but I'm finding it questionable to intentionally make commercial promos with as much of another show/movie/game popularity and designs as possible. The Antfarm, if you intent to release it as a commercial product, please consider not aping Game of Thrones with promos, even if the prop itself is inspired by the show.

I'm not sure what you mean but I have more than 20 or so finished products that I have never released due to lack of "Mass Appeal". So floating a test balloon is not uncommon, DAZ requires I put Commercial tags on this stuff. The look and feel of this prop is intended for fans of the GOT series and fantasy renders.

Not all the shots have a Crow ( member of the watch) in them, but I wouldn't deny the original intent of the prop.

Ghost you know your always welcome to the party. : )

    I didn't know that, sorry.
I’m not sure what you mean

I meant putting the Black Watch-looking guy/girl or another recognizable GoT character in promos _in case if_ product goes commercial.

I was thinking Rawn's ice giant or ice dragon would be fun. But I see what you mean.

Well I for one think it is great and would use it for many different things, some GOT, some fantasy and Sci Fi winter stuff, I live in a land of snow and Ice a significant portion of the year it affect my "artistic" vision more than I care to admit. ;)

...would love to see what some of those other ideas were.

Kind of like I would have loved to have been the proverbial "fly on the wall" at Leipzig and Halle where Bach spent his life and Ste Clothilde where Cesar Franck was organist until his death in 1890 to hear the works these two men improvised which was was never penned to paper.

I second that! I would love to know what some of the things you created were that didn't make release.

He is awesome!!! If he is not DAZ worthy (so to speak) you should find a secondary store for your island of misfit toys I'd snap him up in a heart beat.
