Does anyone know how to gif? - solved

So I am having a problem. I need to make a transparent gif, using Gimp because it's all I have. I have the still images rendered as well as an avi for reference. The gif works in that it moves. But it needs to be transparent. The problem is you can see all the frames at once. So it looks ridiculous. I need to know how to fix it so it looks more like the avi but on a transparent background and not a huge flickery mess. I have been googling and trying to figure this out for two days and I am coming up on a deadline. Any help would be greatly appreciated because right now I am tearing my darn hair out.

You have created an image that is a bunch of layers rather than a true animated gif.

You could also try searching 'free animated gif maker' although honestly it's been a long time since I made animated gif.

Thanks for the tutorial I will give it a look.

It does? Oh man I have to look into that. I bought Carrara Pro but I have not so much as looked at it since. I remember playing with an older version and it was super confusing. I bought it with the hopes of eventually having the nerve to try again. If I keep getting commissions for animation/gifs I will definitely have to see if I can round up some tutorials.
