Why will DAZ not update their product descriptions?
It's the same old dance.
Grabbed a plug-in in today's sale.
Googled that program along with the phrases "DAZ studio 4" and "plug-in"
Took the Plug-in OUT of my cart, because it hasn't worked since DS3.
:shut:
It's been two since DS 4 came out.
TWO YEARS.
If the plug-in maker hasn't updated it in all that time, in this case Omnifreaker's Relight, they're not going to, and given that DS3 hasn't been available to anyone for purchase for most of that time, then listing something as DS compatible when it won't work with DS 4, DS 4.5 or DS 4.6 and NOT specifying that is beyond ridiculous. Especially when in the same time period you launched a completely new website.
And it's not as if this particular case isn't a well documented problem:

Seriously, how long would it actually take to have one intern go through the catalog and add the correct verbiage to the products that don't work? Needless to say, I'm certain that it's a heck of a lot less time than Customer Service has to spend dealing with taking back and refunding all the non-compatible product.
