Often when I try to add some content, nothing happens. The file loads and whenever I look at the troubleshooting log file I often see "WARNING: libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile" The error message is not clear what is the problem. What does it mean?
In and of itself, this error is meaningless - it's one of the internal libraries ("libpng") complaining about a (very) minor issue inside one of the image files. There are tons of png's that come with Daz products that will report this - it's a result of the way they were prepared, and the fact that libpng is being extremely picky about having a "perfect" png file format. (In theory, the Daz folks could have vetted all of the PNG's to make sure they didn't complain this way, but apparently they didn't care to.)
As to why your content doesn't load, you're going to have to give a more specific step-by-step of what you're doing.

It usually means you tried to load a material preset instead of an actual object.
Means PNG does not have an embedded sRGB color profile.
