Non-DSON Importer figures in Poser?

Ok so I have purchased some Genesis clothing items that do not include the DSON importer for Poser. Is there a way I can still use these Items in Poser? If so, how? Since most Genesis clothing does not support Poser is there a way we can convert these to Poser on our own.

If you have DS4.5+ you can resave these as .duf and create PoserCF's for them.

If the item is a .dsf file, load it and resave.
Then go to Content Library options menu (the rectangle with horizontal lines in the upper corner) > Create Poser Companion Files

I am completely lost. Put it this way, I am amazed if I actually manage to open Studio. I know nothing about that program, I am completely lost in it. I am lucky if i even manage to load a figure into the scene.

DAZ actually has a tutorial that's helpful.

Be aware though, not all Genesis clothing can work in Poser.

    If you have zBrush.
If you have Blender , Max ,C4D or a app's like that.
If your getting Poser Pro 14.
Then you can make anything work in Poser.

Ok i went through the tutorial to the best of my ability but every time I try to open one of my converted Genesis clothing items in Poser it spends like an hour looking for Grps files, i have searched my computer and I can't find these files anywhere, what am I doing wrong?

What are you trying to convert? Some items like the SuperSuit just don't convert well.

I think I just need to stop buying anything for Genesis unless it already has Poser importer files included. For me trying to do anything at all in Studio is like trying to pick up a bowling ball with chopsticks while blind folded and wearing boxing gloves. I am completely lost and confused in Studio and I get frustrated every time I have to try to open that program. If i even manage to get the program to open at all its bloody amazing.

Don't give up hope just yet, I was the same, in fact I still am, I don't use Studio at all but I have managed to convert some items of clothing after reading the tutorial several times, but I am struggling with some items.
Just keep at it, there's always someone on these forums who can help.

If the file is dsf, Dimension 3D has a DSON loader script on his site. You need the script and the importer but you can load dsf or duf files without the need to create PCF's. It's not fool proof and there are some older items that don't import as well as others but it does help.

You realize that you responded to a four-month old post, right?

As for Poser, I got the Genesis Supersuit into Poser and it seems to work just fine.
