Instaled Daz 4.6 pro Smart Content does not show up

Could someone pleas help me? I installed 4.6 Pro and none of the smart content shows up. I use the install Manager and I have the patch to My Library setup in Daz. It very hard to find any of my paid items even in the content browser and zero shows up in Smart Content.

    First of all, what OS are you using? Smart Content relies on the CMS (Content Management Service) to be running, is it? You need to look in Task Manager in Windows.

    If you are looking for content in the Content Library pane, then, any figures prior to Genesis, like V4 and M4 etc, will be under Poser Formats > My Library > DAZ People

    I use the install Manager and I have the patch to My Library setup in Daz

    DIM does not install to My Library by default, it installs to Public Documents > My DAZ 3D Library, did you change it. If not, your content is not where you think it is, and you will need to tell DS where to find it.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes I changed the path to to Public Documents > My DAZ 3D Library. I also set that path in DAZ as well. I can't find how to reinstall or fix the CMS. IT does not look like the CMS is running.

    Go to Start > All Programs > DAZ 3D > DAZ Content Management Service, and try to start it from there. You should see it in the Task Manager as a running process, and it also appears in Services on taht tab too.

    If the CMS is not working properly, then you may need to uninstall it, and reinstall DAZ Studio, which will install a new version of the CMS for you.

    Check first in the Task Manager (Alt + Ctrl + Del) under Processes to see if it is running. You still haven't said what Operating System you are using?

    Thanks! I'm running windows 7 64bit. I will try the CMS now and reinstall if it is not working. Thanks

    I just checked the CMS in Task Manger under the services tab. It is always in stopped status. I will try to re-install Daz 4.6 Pro

    When I re-installed it gave an error saying the the CMS could not be installed please contact Daz3D )-:

    Did you uninstall CMS before trying to reinstall DAZ Studio?

    Thanks for the reply. Yes I did. When re-installed Daz 4.6 Pro 64 bit again it still gave an error after trying to install CMS. Even though it gave the error CMS is running now and the Content File manger is finding a lot more of my paid content but nothing show up in Smart content still)-:

    Edited to add: if that doesn't help, my suspicion would be that CMS may not have installed correctly. I'd hate to recommend another round of uninstall/reinstall, but that might be necessary. If that's what you're faced with, it might not be a bad idea to contact DAZ 3D as it said (the way to do that would be to submit a tech ticket here: http://www.daz3d.com/help/help-contact-us )

    It also might be worth reading through this thread, particularly if you have used custom categories and/or custom metadata. http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/8028/ (and this one: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/8444/)

    Thanks - I will read these and try again in the morning. At least the file browser finds the files now.

    This problem have 2 ways for re-install.

    first way
    1) Stop DAZ CMS in services (in services of your Computer, not Start/Stop)
    2) Switch OFF DAZ CMS with right click on service
    3) Restart computer
    4) Uninstall CMS with build-in Uninstaller
    5) Install CMS again

    second WAY its stop and uninstall from cmd

    After this daz3d x32 smart content work fine. But if you want work with x64, its all not work.

    Im install daz 4.6 x64 many time, but CMS dont want install.
    CMS install correctly if you install x32 version only. (with DIM)
    Same situation if you install Daz x64 from exe file, you get CMS which work fine only with x32 Daz.
    My opinion - this is not good practice for Daz include in x64 package - CMS based on x32 system.

    The CMS doesn't need to be 64-bit, it doesn't handle that much data.

    Yes, I'm sorry to mislead.
    Indeed, it's my fault.
    Yesterday, trying to get to work CMS, drew attention to the fact that CMS was established in the folder for x64 Daz.
    But, with x64 version of DAZ service did not want to work.

    1) When installing via DIM, CMS was not installed, and not running. In Programm Folder or Programm Data no folders or database. CMS service is not installed at all. I try search CMS files in the ZIP-archives (IM000) for re-install, and not find. Where them or how they named?

    2) When installing via .exe, CMS was installed fine and service was runnig perfectly. But Dazx64 cant see Smart Content (installed via DIM).
    - After, i try install some content with _trx and Metadata. This content is placed, and when you start, in new window DAZ appears prompting you to add data about connected model. Daz show me the window and asked me to add new data. But then in the Smart, still nothing. Empty Smart Panel.

    - Further, DAZ x64 has been removed and installed several times, but this did not have any effect. After I install Daz x32, which seen, all of the installed content. And installed from DIM and installed from exe.

    I think about this. Maybe some software conflict with CMS? Like MS SQL? Maybe firewall?
    But question still open... why CMS work fine with x32 and not work in x64.

    For me it is interesting and important. Because when im try to render images with a large number of objects or object with much polygons - DAZ x32 just shutdown and off without errors, BUT, at the same time, x64 render passes perfectly, with no problem.

    The first thing to check would be your Anti Virus program. Some have been known to turn the CMS off, It needs to be set to Allowed.

    Thanks all. Problem was solved.

    I most prefer Comodo as shield for my comp.
    Im found rule which block CMS and now all work fine.

    So from what I have read, I need to uninstall the CMS? I don't see DAZ CMS in the services at all. I guess I accidentally hit work offline and after reinstalling it, I didn't click work offline and was able to sign into my account on DAZ. Now I can see Smart Conent and Install conents.
