It's Raining Men Voting is Winners Announced!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to post that the Voting thread has been posted to the Art Studio and voting is now open. Please take a look and vote for your favorites. I did manage to mess up one Carrara entry and forgot to put it in the Carrara section of the voting thread and survey. I apologized to the artist through PM and posted an apology on the thread in the Art Studio. I'm terribly sorry for the mix-up. That image has been added to the Carrara part of the vote and added to the survey. As of this moment, I don't know if the votes that have already been cast will make a difference. I know which votes have already been cast and I will monitor the situation closely. I've offered to allow anyone who has already voted and wishes to change their vote that opportunity for fairness. If any of you have already cast your vote and wish to change it, just PM and I'll make those arrangements.

Luckily, it's early and there haven't been that many votes yet. Thanks to the person who gave me the heads up, too. I appreciate you letting me know about my mistake.

Again, I apologize to that artist. I'm terribly sorry for the mixup.

Thanks for getting it sorted out so quickly, KM.

You've done a great job with the challenge, and I hope it is able to become an annual event with a life of its own.

Great stuff!!!  Will vote later in the week, so many to view!

Can I ask if you know what the outfit is in 044-Winter?  The fur-trimmed hoodie?   yes  Silene

  • @SileneUK I don't know but I've PM'd the artist to see if I could find out. It's a great looking outfit. :)

  • @SileneUK The fur hoodie/jacket was a custom model by the artist so isn't available in any store.

While I do wish that I could take credit for thinking of you Carrarians, I have to admit that might not have happened if you all hadn't had such a strong supporter of wgdjohn who made the original donation for the Carrara category in last year's contest. He also pushed to have the category again in this year's contest so I did my best to make sure that happened. It was because of his wish to see more Carrarians mingle with Daz Studio people that he pushed so hard to have a Carrara category in the It's Raining Men contest which takes part on one of the main boards on the forum. So it is because of wgdjohn that all of you have a place in the It's Raining Men contest and I sincerely hope that it gains traction and has even more entries next year. I will do my best to make sure the category stays but I will need you guys to continue to enter the contest for that to happen. Hopefully, next year even more of you will be brave enough to step forward and help keep the category alive in the It's Raining Men contest with your entries.

Vyusur - Great choices and great renders!  Just saw your most recent store character.  Congrats!

Going to take the opportunity to thank Tim and Phil for sponsoring a Carrara category. Would be great to have even more people enter an image in the Carrara category next time around.

You need to make some 'poses' for dancers... knowing dancing as well as being a talented art you have the perfect knowledge combination!  Congrats, Veronica.  heart Silene

Thank you very much, Silene! I'm going to make some dancing pose sets. But it takes more time than I would like.

Congrats to Veronica on winning the Carrara category - I thought I recognised your style when I saw the image!  Enjoy your prizes (even if mine can't be used directly in Carrara!).  I thought the overall standard was very high thorughout the competition.

Phil, thank you very much for your kind words! I really enjoy your product, it's perfect for my renders. The more so, I hate to mess about creating myself all those makeups.
