I have, like others, multiple machines, each with their own content libraries and each containing different amounts, types and often unique content. However, for what it is worth, this particular machine that I am using right now has 14.6 GB in the 3DContent\Runtime\Libraries folder. (113,288 files in 5,100 folders)
I stand by my statement. I have a runtime library folder. But I have other active daz/poser content folders that are not in the runtime but are non the less still active content files on external HHD drives
I imagine that a lot of us do, but given that the purpose of collecting the data is to help the original poster make a script to identify old product in the poser format, I would think that anything that ISN'T in a Poser format, except possibly .objs, would be outside the scope of the original request. At least, that's why I didn't bother with my VUE and Bryce libraries.

that is true & why I stated I have older daz/poser content outside of the poser runtime in the daz character folders which once upon a time were default locations for daz mats for generations 4 poser characters, which still lay in the content folder but outside the runtime. but are still older poser content...which still using the same runtime texture folder and script folder as well . I understood her request .. but I thought all poser pz3 and older .daz file formats & folders were relevant i guess I was wrong my apology
Like others I have multiple machines running DS with multiple libraries on each so this is the info from runtime/libraries on the PC I use as a server for the others (DS not installed only DIM) :
How do I find that information? I just know I have a lot.
With Windows, If you browse to where you have your content installed, browse to Runtime/Libraries and right click on the Libraries folder and select properties it will calculate the size :)
Thank you!
On my laptop I have 48.9GB. But, I have more on the PC than the laptop, won't be home til way late tonight to check though.
Unable to determine, as I have vaguely around 4800 separate runtimes (or DAZ Studio folders, it's a mix of both. Maybe half are Poser runtimes, each with their own separate library folder within.) However, that bit of knowledge might be helpful in some way as well as in the past there was at least one plugin that could only handle a tiny number of runtimes, and that's something you might want to take into account, either when designing the script or stating limitations of the script.
I have 2 runtimes. One is for DIM and is 44.6 GB and the other is Non-DIM installed content for 2.82 GB. Watch out for DIM though, I noticed as I was doing this that there was another library folder above Runtime as well. I also have a LOT of content from other places that could be installed. It would probably bring the Non-DIM folder up to at least the size of the other.
Oddly enough I thought I'd gotten rid of all my legacy components, but apparently not. Looks like there's ~23G of space I can reclaim, once I figure out what's hogging it all...
That's not strictly true, I need V4 and M4 and their morphs and such so I can GenX characters around, although I haven't been doing much of that lately since it doesn't (and won't) work with Gen 8.

Edit: Oh. Yeah... I forgot that Poser puts EVERYTHING with any interactivity in the Character tree. _facepalm_ . So...older West Park stuff is in there, as well as clothes and other stuff. Oh, and 'Pose' is almost 100% 'material poses' for props and scenes, because...reasons. So not so much that I can reclaim...
My largest Poser file format libraries folder that is mapped to daz studio is currently 43.1 GB. I probably have a few much smaller libraries folders on older externals with some old content just not mapped. Darn, now you have me thinking of going through my old hard drives to see if I have any overlooked goodies. I'll plead the 5th on the size of my Daz Studio file format library.

25.5 Gb right now, after having removed all my Poser 6/7 content, and all my Daz generation 1 and 2 content, etc., which were around 10 or so gig.

Haven't included Poser runtimes not mapped to DS and have installed less then half the Poser/Legacy files available from my purchased DAZ products.
EDIT: numerical dyslexia strikes again, had to swap some numerals back to their correct order :(
RE-EDIT: to clarify that libraries are on one machine.
Libraries in Runtime: 21.6 gig
Runtime / Libraries 69.4 GB which is 402,087 files and 12,880 folders.
Runtime/libraries is 33.1gb.
DAZ 3D/My Library/Runtime/Libraries - 32GB
two of them, I have more, there may be other crap in some as some props and cr2's have geometry and or textures in the same folder
.
From DAZ shop purchases I have a total of 34.27 GB spread between 8 locations of Runtime/Libraries.
(I have a further 6.22 GB of freebie content spread over another 7 Runtime/Libraries which you may not be interested in?)
The two primary Poser runtime libraries I use are 12.7GB and 3.56GB
I have others, but those are the size of the two I use the most.
runtime\libraries
18 gb (Daz3D purchases)
10.3 gb (3rd Party/freebies)
2.18 gb (what is left in my Studio 3 setup)
Animals 1.70 GB
Clothes 31.6 GB
Hair 16.8 GB
Monsters 2.39 GB
People 4.56 GB
Plants 388 MB
Props 8.32 GB
The Hair and Clothes libraries willowe their size to all the morphs embedded in the CR2 and HR2 files.
Thank you!
On my laptop I have 48.9GB. But, I have more on the PC than the laptop, won't be home til way late tonight to check though.
My Runtime/Libraries is 11 Gb (out of approx 160 Gb total),
Old runtime from Studio 3 days: 3.08GB
DIM-installed products: 10.81GB
Newer manually installed products: 1.01GB
Now that I have all my DS content reinstalled, the Runtime/Libraries folder in that folder (My DAZ 3D Library) is 4.18 gig
Unable to determine, as I have vaguely around 4800 separate runtimes (or DAZ Studio folders, it's a mix of both. Maybe half are Poser runtimes, each with their own separate library folder within.) Mine is only 1.98 GB (17,272 files in 1,016 folders.) The larger collection is 147 GB, so it's only a percent or so.

I hope that helps.
