Help using the Borg Female Genesis 8

Hello, I literally just bought my very first 3D models ever!  I am excited about learning how to pose and make cool scenes with these models.  While I could probably ask a million questions, one thing I am having trouble understanding is the 'on board' lighting of the Borg Female Genesis 8 model.  She looks cool!  And, I have figured out how to make the different parts of her different colors, but in the photos with her, it appears she has glowing cybernetic implants all over her.  I cannot figure out how I make these things glow or how I would change the color of the glow if I can figure out how to do it.

Hello!

To make the lights glow you need to render the figure. It sounds like you're looking at the figure in the preview window unrendered, where mesh lights won't show up.

Here is a tutorial series on doing your first renders in Iray.  This is just my own version; there are many others.

I just saw this before bed, so I cannot watch your tutorial tonight, but I will tomorrow!  However, I am attaching my render.  The little lights are not on mine >:(
